Hi Darlings!
I'm so happy you made it to my website! My name is Marie Hillman and I am the owner of Sweet Darling Cakery. I've loved sweets for as long as I can remember, so naturally I decided to turn that love into a career. I have been baking and creating cakes for almost 10 years now and have been loving every second!
I grew up in beautiful Southern California with two amazing parents and three older sisters. I spent three and a half years studying business management over in Phoenix, Arizona and finished up my last semester abroad in London! After finishing my bachelors, I started culinary school. I attended the Institute of Culinary Education over in Pasadena where I met amazing Chef's and unforgettable classmates. I graduated from culinary school in December 2020 and recently took the jump to work on Sweet Darling full-time!
Something unique about Sweet Darling Cakery is that we are 100% vegan.
YUP you heard that right. No eggs. No dairy. Just a lot of love. Our mission is to help create memories by spreading joy and love without adding the extra harm! Our vision is to be a bakery that can eventually satisfy anyone's dietary needs including gluten-free, sugar-free, paleo, and more. So thank you for being here!
