Where can I find prices?

Every order is personally designed and customized, therefore every cake is unique and priced out a little differently. Pricing of a cake depends on the size, flavor, and design of that cake. If you would like to figure out how much a cake is then feel free to head over to the order page and send us an inquiry!

What is the ordering process like?

To place an order with us head on over to the Order page. Once you have filled out and sent an order inqury we create an invoice with a drawn up cake and send it back to you within 48 hours. Note that sending an order inquriy is not the same as placing and confiming an order. If everything is correct and exactly how you want on the invoice then a non-refundable 50% desposit will be needed to confim and hold your order. The rest of the payment will be due on the day of delivery/pickup.

Do you do deliveries? What about a pick-up location?

Yes, we do deliveries! We deliver within a 30 mile radius and have a delivery charge of $1.75 per mile. If you would like to pick-up your order instead, there is a morning pickup window from 7-9am and an evening pickup window from 5-7pm. Pick-up is located in Cerritos, CA and a full adress will be given once your order is confirmed.

Is there a minimum order of cupcakes?

There is a minimum order of 12 cupcakes and 12 per flavor.

How far in advance do I have to place an order?

Accepted Answer

We ask clients to give us 7 days in advance when placing an order. Although a client can wait until 7 days prior, we do advise to send an inquiry much sooner than that due to availability! We cannot guarantee an order even if an inquiry is sent, only when the order is confirmed with a deposit.

Do you work with fondant?

I currently do not work with fondant. All of my cakes are created and decorated with buttercream.

The most popular cakes from my year-round flavors are the chocolate macadamia nut and the Lemon Poppyseed!

We are located in beautiful Cerritos, CA! An address will be shared when you have a confirmed order that you are picking up.

I want a large three tiered wedding cake, but I only have 22 people at the reception? How can I go about ordering that?"

Wedding cakes can be a little nerve-racking to order since its on such an important day! Many times we get clients asking for a grand elegant cake but sharing that they only have 25 guest. At Sweet Darling Cakery we love to bring your cake visions to life while saving you a little extra money and cake being wasted at the end of the night. We do this by using faux teirs! A faux cake looks exactly like the rest of the tiers but is actually just styrofoam underneath the beauty. Most of the times the faux tier will be on the bottom so you can still cut into your cake on your special day!
